Dr. Donié Geo-Consult GmbH is an internationally operating expert and engineering company with experienced geologists, geophysicists and engineers. Through interdisciplinary cooperation, experts from various disciplines develop a meaningful picture of the field of investigation, taking into account economic aspects. The company’s fields of activity are very diverse. A particular focus of the team over the past 34 years has been the geological and geophysical investigation of subsoil on pipeline routes with worldwide applications. In addition, the topics of cavity detection, detection of bedding defects in the vicinity of canals, water exploration, landslides and, in the broadest sense, object location are in the foreground.

The measuring methods used are essentially: geoelectrics, electromagnetics, magnetics, seismics, georadar, depth sounder and sub-bottom profiling, subordinate also radon emanation and vibration measurements. The team has a great deal of know-how in the evaluation and interpretation of measurement data, supplemented by corresponding experience in geology as well as soil and rock mechanics. For major international projects, cooperation agreements are generally concluded with local companies.
